About the event
During this workshop, we will build on the nervous system basics we reviewed last month (don't worry - beginners welcome; if this is your first class there will be a recap of last month's information!).
We will focus on more techniques for engaging the "calming brake" of the nervous system, and practice becoming aware of your body signals to activate the brake.
We will also practice several techniques to help to shift negative feelings & sensations that are contributing to your nervous system activation.
We will end with a "deep rest immersion" to give your brain a neural rest & strengthen your nervous system. Bring your favourite blanket and pillow for the deep rest portion! We will be using reclining chairs for a relaxing sensory experience for mind and body :)
